Our Idyllic Aegean cruise offers you three cruising options. Set sail on a Friday for a 3 night Greek Island and Turkey sampler, or depart on a Monday for a 4 night cruise to explore the sun-laden Turkish Coast and more Greek Isles, or join the two cruises together for a sensational voyage visiting them all. Operating in the European high summer this itinerary will cure the winter blues and take you to the must-see and less visited islands of Greece and show you the best of Turkey’s turquoise coast.
Day 1: Athens (Lavrion) – Mykonos, Greece (L/D)
Morning transfer to the port of Lavrion for boarding on the cruise. Depart at 13.00. 18.00 Arrival at Mykonos, the island of the international “Jet-Set”, famous for its beautiful sandy beaches and incredible night life. Cruise ship departs for Kusadasi at 24:00hrs .
Day 2: Kusadasi, Turkey – Samos, Greece (B/L/D)
First, step ashore in Kusadasi for a little fun shopping in the bazaar, or set your mind on some tantalising jewellery before enjoying an eye-catching rug presentation. Outside of town visit the incredible Roman ruins of Ephesus. Lunch on-board as you sail to Samos. Shimmering like an emerald, Samos is a rare gem known as the ‘Green Aegean Island’, with great strolling, shopping, attractions and dreamy beaches.
Day 3: Milos, Greece (B/L/D)
Known for where the famous Venus de Milo was found, Milos is off the regular tourist trail. The island has an extraordinary volcanic terrain with amazing rock formations, hot springs and around 75 beaches, some of which rival the best in Greece.
Day 4: Athens (Piraeus) – Syros, Greece (B/L/D)
Discover the port town of Lavrion as we return to nearby Athens to embark guests joining the ship for the next five days. This evening arrive in Syros for a short time to find a perfect place to sit awhile with a cool cocktail, or enjoy some night shopping.
Day 5: Cesme (B/L/D)
Cesme is a picturesque resort town on Izmir’s sun-drenched western peninsula with old Greek houses wrapped around a Genoese castle. The area is blessed with beautiful beaches and thermal spas, yet it manages to remain relatively untarnished. Cruise sets sail for Kos at 22;00hrs.
Day 6: Kos (B/L/D)
Early morning arrival in Kos. Day at your leisure. Cruise ship sets sail for Ios in the evening
Day 7: Ios – Santorini, Greece (B/L/D)
Known for its unique nightlife, beautiful beaches, historical landmarks and its main town Chora is a traditional sleepy Greek village during the day with winding streets, blue and white buildings, and shopping. This evening visit impressive Santorini, where high above you is Fira, a white washed village hanging on the top of a volcanic crater. Have your cameras ready!
Day 8: Athens (Lavrion), Greece (B)
After breakfast on-board and disembark.
