Phnom Penh - Kampong Thom – Siem Reap
Day 1: Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh. Afternoon tour of Phnom Penh visiting the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda containing the Emerald Buddha statue, the Royal Palace and Phnom Penh’s oldest shrine, Wat Phnom.
Day 2: Phnom Penh (B)
Excursion to Takeo, Lake Tonle Bati and the impressive laterite temple of Ta Prohm, Visit Chisor by speedboat, the 11th-century temple with interesting carvings. Also, visit Phnom Da with four artificial caves built as shrines and Angkor Borei.
Day 3: Phnom Penh-Kampong Cham-Kampong Thom (B/L/D)
Drive through the Mekong River basin to Kampong Thom en route stopping at Skoun, later visit a rubber plantation at Chhup and a local market also visit Wat Nokor Bayon, 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine with a large reclining Buddha.
Day 4: Kampong Thom-Siem Reap (B/L)
Visit important archaeological sites at Sambor Prei Kup before driving to Siem Reap en route stopping at Wat Andri Buddhist Temple.
Day 5: Siem Reap (B)
Explore the ancient city of Angkor visiting Angkor Thom, ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, and Royal Palace. Visit the epic Angkor Wat and watch a spectacular sunset from the mountain temple of Phnom Bakheng.
Day 6: Siem Reap (B)
Full day tour visiting graceful Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre Temples. Also visit the three-tiered temple hill of Pre Rup, Bantey Kdei, Lake of Srah Sran and the impressive Ta Phrohm Temple.
Day 7: Siem Reap (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home or extend your stay in Cambodia by choosing various beach extensions or add on tours we offer.
