This comprehensive trip takes you to some of the popular as well as off-beat places in Vietnam to give you a real insight into the lives of modern as well as rural Vietnamese. Explore the bustling capital Hanoi with its famous Old Quarter and the spectacular limestone cliffs of Halong Bay. Experience the train journey to the historical Hue with its centuries-old monuments influenced by Chinese architecture. Get a bargain or take a cooking class in Hoi An before exploring the stunning beach and countryside driving to Qui Nhon and Nha Trang. Visit scenic Dalat, still retaining the colonial French influence before stopping at the beach resort town of Mui Ne.  Ho Chi Minh City will never cease to fascinate its history and experience life on the water of the Mekong Delta.
 
Day 1: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel.
 
Day 2: Hanoi (B)
In the morning you will visit the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, Next, visit the 11th-century relic, the Temple of Literature, which was built in homage to the Chinese scholar Confucius. Take a breezy Cyclo ride through the Old Quarters. Later drive back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day on own.
 
Day 3: Hanoi-Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Proceed for Halong Bay cruise on a traditional Junk to discover this World Heritage site, known as the 'land of 3000 islands'. Overnight on junk.
 
Day 4: Halong-Hanoi-Hue (B)
Enjoy the sunrise on your junk. Continue sailing and return to Halong Bay. Transfer to Hanoi railway station for overnight train to Hue.
 
Day 5: Hue (B)
On arrival in Hue, after breakfast in a local Restaurant, you will visit the Imperial Citadel before proceeding to the Hotel to check in. In the afternoon, visit Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Khai Dinh and Thien Mu Pagoda to witness a daily Buddhist prayer recited by the monks and Dong Ba Market.
 
Day 6: Hue (B/L)
This morning, you will be taken for a cooking class and you get to taste what you cook. Afternoon at leisure
                                                                                                                             
Day 6: Hue – Hoi An (B)
Take a scenic drive to Hoi An en route visiting the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains. Afternoon walking tour of Hoi An visiting Phuc Kien, a Chinese Communal House or Hokkien Temple, ancient merchants’ houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful local market.

Day 10: Hoi An - Nha Trang (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Nha Trang. Transfer to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your hotel.
 
Day 11: Nha Trang (B/L)
Start from your hotel to Cau Da port. Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island is the first place to visit, Enjoy swimming and take a fresh lunch at the island. On the way back you will visit a fishing village before going to the shore.
 
Day 12: Nha Trang-Da Lat (B)
Drive to Da Lat - located on a lush plateau of pine forests and lakes. Dalat's cool climate is a pleasant respite from the heat and humidity of the lowlands.
 
Day 13: Da Lat (B)
This morning explore the Da Lat’s flower and vegetable market and visit the Truc Lam Buddhist Monastery. In the afternoon, visit Xuan Huong Lake, the Lam Dong Museum, and the palace of the last Empress of the Nguyen Dynasty.
 
Day 14: Da Lat- Phan Thiet
Drive to Phan Thiet. On arrival, check-in Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
 
Day 15: Phan Thiet (B)
Full day at leisure.
 
Day 16: Phan Thiet (B)
Full day at leisure.
 
Day 17: Mui Ne- Ho Chi Minh City (B)
After a leisurely start, drive to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, check-in Hotel.
 
Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing complex of underground bunkers which were used by the guerrilla army during the US War. Ho Chi Minh City city tour showcasing a mix of French colonial architecture, Chinese influences and War Museum.
 
Day 19: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Day trip to Mekong Delta to see agrarian life in vibrant southern Delta. Enjoy a sampan boat ride to the floating markets. Lunch at a local house and see a family run a traditional business.
 
Day 20: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
