Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to your hotel.
 
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Morning excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels, See the amazing complex of underground bunkers which were used by the guerrilla army during the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, take Ho Chi Minh City tour showcasing a mix of French colonial architecture and Chinese influences.
 
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Day trip to Mekong Delta to see agrarian life in vibrant southern Delta. Enjoy a sampan boat ride to the floating markets. Lunch at a local house and see the family-run traditional businesses.
 
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Danang – Hoi An (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Danang and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Afternoon walking tour of Hoi An and visit Chua Ong Pagoda, Japanese Bridge and Phuc Kien to see the Jinshang Temple.
 
Day 5: Hoi An (B/L)
This morning you will visit the local market before cruising for a cooking class to enjoy the meal cooked by you. Afternoon free to discover the street markets in Hoi An.
 
Day 6: Hoi An (B)
Full day at leisure
 
Day 7: Hoi An – Hue (B)
Drive to Hue. Sightseeing of Old Imperial City -Visit Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu Pagoda, Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang with a boat trip and Dong Ba Market.  
 
Day 8: Hue – Phong Nha (B/L)
Morning drive from Hue to Phong Nha passing the former DMZ area with sites famous from the war: Quang Tri Citadel, Dong Ha, Doc Mieu base, Hien Luong Bridge and Vinh Moc tunnels.
 
Day 9: Phong Nha – Dong Hai (B/L)
Morning visit to Paradise Cave, the longest cave in South East Asia (31 km) with astonishing stalactites and stalagmites. In the afternoon, kayak to visit Dark Cave.
 
Day 10: Dong Hai – Hanoi (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon tour of Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature.
 
Day 11: Hanoi – Halong Bay (BL/D)
Morning transfer to Halong Bay for a traditional Junk to discover this World Heritage site, known as the 'land of 3000 islands'. Drop anchor in the evening for an overnight on junk among the dramatic limestone peaks rising out of the sea.
 
Day 12: Halong - Hanoi (Brunch)
Enjoy the sunrise on your junk. Continue sailing and disembark at the pier in Halong Bay. Return to Hanoi in the afternoon.
 
Day 13: Hanoi (B)
Transfer to airport to connect your onward flight.
