Amman – Rosoun – Dead Sea – Petra – Wadi Rum - Amman
Day 1- Saturday: Amman
Arrival and transfer to hotel.
Day 2 – Sunday: Amman (B/L)
Full day tour of Amman, drive to Jordan's famous 'desert castles'. You will explore the desert castles of Qasr al-Kharrana, Qasr Azraq and Qasr Amra before you head back to Amman to explore downtown Amman on foot, visiting the impressive Roman Amphitheatre, the Jordan Folklore Museum as well as the Citadel.
Day 3 – Monday: Amman – Rasoun Village (B/D)
Drive towards north to the ancient city of Jerash - one of the largest and well-preserved Greco-Roman cities outside of Europe. Here you will visit the Forum, explore its Roman collonaded streets, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. From Jerash, you will make your way to Ajloun Castle, Later drive to Rasoun.
Day 4- Tuesday: Rasoun – Dead Sea (B)
Today morning you will head south to Madaba, marvel at the Byzantine mosaics. From Madaba, you will make way to Mount Nebo. You get great views towards Jericho and beyond. Later you will check in our resort right on the banks of the Dead Sea.
Day 5 – Wednesday: Dead Sea - Petra (B)
Drive your way down the Dead Sea coastline, after you pass some salt flats at the southern end of the Dead Sea, you will head up through the mountains towards Petra. You will stop at a village and take a walk before continuing to the imposing crusader castle at Shobak, finally arriving at Petra late in the evening.
Day 6 – Thursday: Petra – Wadi Rum (B/D)
Today you will explore the Rose Red city of Petra, now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World, with a walk through the winding Siq to the magnificent Treasury. Late in the afternoon, you head into the spectacular desert scenery of Wadi Rum for a night under the stars enjoying the hospitality of the Bedouins.
Day 7- Friday: Wadi Rum - Amman (B/L)
This morning you will take a jeep safari through the sands and beneath the towering 'jebels' of Wadi Rum, stopping to climb sand dunes and to see some of the strange rock formations, including a spectacular rock bridge. In the afternoon drive to Amman.
Day 8 - Saturday: Amman (B)
Transfer to the airport.
