Day 1: Ho Chi Minh
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to your hotel.
 
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh (B)
Morning excursion to Cu Chi Tunnels, See the amazing complex of underground bunkers which were used by the guerrilla army during the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, take Ho Chi Minh City tour showcasing a mix of French colonial architecture and Chinese influences.
 
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong – Ho Chi Minh (B/L)
This morning depart from your hotel for your tour to Ben Tre, a gateway to the Mekong delta. Board a small boat for the sightseeing around the waterways of the Mekong Delta. Known also as the rice bowl of Vietnam.
 
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Hoi An (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Hoi An. Upon arrival in Hoi An transfer to your hotel. In this afternoon tour of Hoi An, visit Chua Ong Pagoda then Phuc Kien, a Chinese Communal House or Jinshang Temple, ancient merchants’ houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful local market.
 
Day 5: Hoi An (B)
Free day to explore Hoi An on own.
 
Day 6: Hoi An – Hanoi (B)
Morning transfer to airport for your flight to Hanoi. On arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon you will have a cyclo tour and visit the old Quarter, the Northern Gate of the Ancient Citadel, Cua Bac Churc, Quan Thanh Temple and enjoy a Pho Cuon afternoon snack in Chau Long Market.
 
Day 7: Hanoi (B/L)
Today take a full day tour of Hanoi and visit ancient pagodas, villages of Northern Vietnam, including Duong lam. Later enjoy a traditional lunch at a local home. You will also visit Tay Phuong Pagoda.
 
Day 8: Hanoi (B)
Free day to explore Hanoi on own.
 
Day 9: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
Drive through rice paddy fields to Ha Long Bay. Board a junk and cruise among the hundreds of islets of Ha Long Bay. Drop anchor in the evening for an overnight among the dramatic limestone peaks rising out of the sea. Overnight on junk.
 
Day 10 Halong – Hanoi (B)
Wake early to start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck, as the sun rises over the bay. The boat weighs anchor to sail Ti Tov Island. You can choose either swim or hike here. Enjoy a final extravagant brunch before sailing back to the harbor, where you will continue to Hanoi airport for your flight home.
