Day 1: Arrive Tokyo

Upon arrival at Narita or Haneda airport, exit through the arrivals hall and look out for your name on a board that the assistant will be holding. You will be assisted to board an airport bus for your transfer to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Tokyo Morning Tour (B)

This morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to join Tokyo Morning Tour. Enjoy a panorama of Tokyo from the main observation platform at Tokyo Tower, visit Meiji Shrine, drive through Akasaka Guest House and National Diet Building and visit Imperial Palace East Garden (or Imperial Palace Plaza & Double Bridge when the garden is closed) and drive through Ginza shopping district. Tour ends in Ginza approx. 1 pm. The tour guide will inform you how to go back to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 3: Tokyo - Mt. Fuji & Hakone (B/L)

Your main suitcase will be transferred directly from Tokyo to Kyoto. Please leave your main suitcase with the porter/bell desk by 7:30 am. Please keep an overnight bag with you for the night in Hakone. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel to join a day tour to Mt. Fuji and Hakone. Visit Mt. Fuji 5th station in the morning. After lunch, Ropeway in Hakone and take a cruise on Lake Ashi. After the tour, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Hakone by taxi.

Day 4: Hakone – Kyoto (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Odawara or Atami station by private car (Japanese speaking driver only). Take the famous bullet train to Kyoto (travel time 150min). On arrival you will be met by an English speaking assistant at Kyoto station, where you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, join the Kyoto Afternoon Walking Tour (Approx. 3.5 km walking including over varied terrain). You will meet your English speaking guide at Kyoto Station. Take public bus from the station to Higashiyama area and visit Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Kodai-ji Temple, Yasaka Shrine and Gion district, one of the famous Geisha quarters. Tour ends in Gion approx. 6 pm.

Day 5: Nara - Kyoto (B)

Today, following breakfast, you will join Nara Morning Walking Tour (Approx. 4.5km walking). You will meet your English speaking guide at Kyoto station. Take a Kintetsu Express Train to Nara, the imperial capital of Japan in the 8th century. You will visit Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha), Nara Park, where over 1,200 wild shika deer freely roam around the park and Kofuku-ji Temple. Return to Kyoto by train. Tour ends at Kyoto station approx. 1 pm. The rest of the day is at leisure. Day 6: Kyoto - Taipei (B) Today you will transfer to Kansai International Airport by airport shuttle bus for your flight to Taipei. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7: Taipei - Puli - Sun Moon Lake (B)

In the morning take a tour to Sun Moon Lake. Along the way, stop at the woodcarving village of Sanyi. Then drive to Puli and visit a paper workshop, and Paper Dome Church for photo opportunities. Continue your journey to Sun Moon Lake, the largest body of water in Taiwan. Drive around the beautiful lake and visit Wen Wu Temple. Time permitting, visit Tse En Pagoda and Tehua Village.

Day 8: Sun Moon Lake- Tainan - Kaohsiung (B)

After breakfast, drive two hours south to Tainan. On arrival enjoy a walking tour visiting Chikan Tower and the Confucius Temple. Proceed to Kaohsiung, the biggest city in the southern Taiwan. Visit the spectacular Dragon and Tiger Pagoda located at Lotus Lake, along with Spring and Autumn Pavilion. The rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening take the opportunity to visit the famous Liuho Night Market.

Day 9: Kaohsiung - Chihpen (B)

This morning visit Foguanshan Monastery, the biggest monastery in Taiwan. Visit the Main Shrine, Buddhist Museum and Great Buddha Land. You can enjoy a light vegetarian lunch (at your own expense) in the monastery. After lunch drive to Taitung County in southeast Taiwan. Late afternoon arrive at Chihpen and check into the best hot-springs hotel in Chihpen. The rest of the day is at leisure where you can relax in the hot-springs. In the evening witness an aboriginal dance.

Day 10: Chihpen - Hualien (B)

After breakfast drive north along the east coast to visit Siaoyeliou, Dulan, Tunghe Bridge and Sansientai. Upon arrival at Hualien check-in to the hotel. Rest of day is at leisure.

Day 11: Hualien -Taroko - Taipei (B)

This morning set off to explore Taroko National Park. Sights visited in the park include; Swallow Grotto, Eternal Spring Shrine, Taroko Gorge Gateway and a marble factory. This afternoon drive back to Taipei via Su-Hua highway and stop at the dramatic Chingshui Cliffs. Late afternoon you will arrive back in Taipei.

Day 12: Taipei - Hong Kong (B)

During your half day morning city tour visit the key locations in Taipei including Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Martyrs’ Shrine, Presidential Building (pass by), Traditional Taiwanese Temple, National Palace Museum and Handicraft Center. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival you will be transferred by shuttle bus to your hotel.

Day 13: Hong Kong Island tour(B)

In the morning enjoy a half day tour of Hong Kong Island. Visit Victoria Peak with a tram ride up to the Peak, then drive to Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen. The afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 14: Departare (B)

Day at leisure time until your transfer to the airport by shuttle bus for your onward flight
