2 Days - Halong Bay Cruise

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong (L/D)
In the early morning, transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay. Arriving in Halong, board a sailing Junk to discover this World Heritage site, known as the ‘land of 3000 islands’. Rising from the sea the islands offer a wealth of opportunity for the local people. Your visit includes exploring the beauty of this area up close. A fantastic cruise this afternoon visiting Long Bay, visit Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, visit Sung Sot cave and a swim at Titov beach. A delicious seafood lunch and dinner will be on board this evening (options available for those who do not like seafood).
 
Day 2: Halong – Hanoi (Brunch)
Enjoy the sunrise on your junk. Tea and Coffee is served before you board small bamboo boats to visit Luon Cave and then cruise to pass so that tourists can have a look Man’s head island, Tortoise Island from the Junks. Enjoy a good brunch on board before returning back to Hanoi enroute visiting Dong Trieu ceramics factory.

Day 1: Saigon – My Tho – Can Tho (L/D)
Leave this morning from your Hotel and proceed to Cai Be. Have a motorized boat ride to see round Cai Be floating market with local people being selling, buying, and exchanging goods from their boats. Walk around to see orchard, rice paper making, rice scrispies producing process, etc. Stop for a rest and a Vietnamese lunch including tropical fruits, traditional music. Boat through a village to see peaceful tranquil life of villagers; admire marvellous natural setting of Mekong Delta region. Take a boat trip through some islands and cross Mekong River to Vinh Long. Cross lower Mekong River to view Can Tho city by ferry. Overnight in Can Tho
 
Day 2: Can Tho (B/L)
A 3-hour boat trip to discover the beautiful Cai Rang floating market and its surroundings. Visit a vermicelli making shop, a rice husking mill, fruit gardens. Enjoy tropical fruit (free). See the peaceful life in the rural area. Have lunch in Can Tho before heading back to Saigon.

3 Days - Mekong Delta Tour

Day 1: Saigon – Vinh Long – Can Tho (L/D)
You will be collected from your hotel and drive to Cai Be, 120 km south-west of Saigon in the heart of the Mekong Delta. Stop enroute to visit a typical local house where rice is made (visited during harvesting season only). Arrive in Cai Be and take a boat to the floating market to practice the age-old art of bartering. Visitors will be supplied with sweets, sugar, milk etc., which they can then barter for different kinds of local fruits. Continue by river to see family-run businesses producing a local version of popcorn and rice paper. Lunch is at a local house on Binh Hoa Phuoc islet, set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees. Continue to Vinh Long and drive on to Can Tho and check into your hotel.
 
Day 2: Can Tho – Chau Doc (B/L/D)
Morning boat cruise to visit Cai Rang floating market, which is a wonderful spectacle with thousands of small boats barging and jostling for position as their owners attempt to sell their goods. Cruise through small canals and stop at a fruit orchard to taste some of the succulent fruits of the Mekong Delta then continue driving to visit the Binh Thuy old house and market. After lunch drive to Chau Doc. On arrival continue on to visit Xu Lady and Thoai Ngoc Hau Temple (visit Sam Mountain if time permits).
 
Day 3: Chau Doc (B/L)
Boat trip to the Floating Villages and continue your trip back to Saigon by car.

4 Days - Sapa Adventure

Day 1: Hanoi – Train
This evening, you will be picked up from your Hotel in Hanoi and transferred to the railway station to board the overnight train for Lao Cai.  
 
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sa Pa (B/L/D)
Arrive in Lao Cai early morning, have breakfast at a local restaurant then drive to the Hill tribe market of Lung Khau Nhin located in a beautiful landscape. You can see here, how friendly and hospitable the local people are (Lung Khau Nhin market takes place on Thursdays only). The tiny market is surrounded by pine tree forests and villages. Flower Hmong, Tu Di, Tay and Giay ethnic minorities come to buy and sell local products such as food and material for agriculture and fabric. Visit more minority villages along the way, heading to Sapa. Enjoy a picnic lunch, or lunch at a local restaurant. On arrival into Sapa, check into your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure.  
 
Day 3: Sa Pa-Lao Cai-Train (B/L/D)
In the morning, drive to Lao Chai, the staging point for today’s hike. Begin the 6km trek down into a rice-terraced valley. Walk through remote villages, rice paddies and thatched-roof homes of the H’mong. Continue hiking to the village of Ta Van, one of the few villages in Sapa inhabited by the Zay tribe. Return to Sapa along a dramatic winding trail. In the afternoon, you will start with a walk through the town of Sapa and along a dirt trail through beautiful gardens and lush pine forests. You will then hike through the Black Hmong ethnic minority village of Matra, a very small village hiding away from civilisation. Continue hiking through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery. During the day you will also be able to visit a local school. From the school, you head to the church of Taphin, where your car will take you back to Sapa. Late in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the railway station, enroute stopping at China-Vietnam border at Lao Cai, before boarding the overnight train to Hanoi.  
 
Day 4: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to the Hotel or Airport.
