This tour is specially designed for wildlife enthusiasts and for those keen to see the most elegant and feared predator – Royal Bengal Tiger. Besides the elusive tiger, Indian National Parks offer visitors nature at its rustic best and an enticing variety of flora and fauna. Combine your wildlife tour with some spectacular historical sights of the North – From the timeless city of Delhi with its centuries old monuments and colonial touch of New Delhi, see Taj Mahal, the most photographed building in the world and visit the colourful and royal city of Jaipur. Excellent program showcasing the best wildlife sanctuaries of North India, wonderful sights and world famous culinary delicacies – this trip is a recommended specially for wildlife enthusiast who want to see a bit of history as well.
 
Day 01: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel.
 
Day 02: Delhi (B)
Cross the city into the walled gates of Old Delhi, visiting Jama Mosque (1650) and drive through the fabled area of Chandni Chowk. Then we drive past the Red Fort (1639-1648) built by Shahjehan, the builder of the Taj Mahal in Agra. Later visit Raj Ghat to pay homage to Father of the Indian Nation – Mahatma Gandhi.
In the afternoon, proceed on a tour of New Delhi visiting the Qutub Minar. Drive through the Embassy area, Connaught Place, the heart and main shopping district of the capital. Continue to Humayun’s tomb, also known as the forerunner to the Taj Mahal.
 
Day 3: Delhi-Jaipur (B)
Depart for Jaipur, popular for formidable forts, enchanting palaces and lovely temples. Also this city is a paradise for shoppers; Jaipur offers jewellery, carpets & rugs, textiles and other good deals. Afternoon is at leisure to explore this colourful city on your own
 
 Day 4: Jaipur (B)
Morning excursion of Amber fort,  a honey-coloured fortress-palace in the Aravalli Hills. Enjoy a jeep ride along the fortress ramparts. The sombre exterior belies the richness of the royal apartments which open on to striking views of the gorge. Walk into the Sheesh Mahal and admire the amazing interior décor thought of over 200 years ago. The Hall of Victory presents a galaxy of decorative art panels of alabaster with fine inlay work.
Afternoon city tour of Jaipur, driving past Hawa Mahal, an elaborate building encrusted with delicate honeycomb screens and carved balconies. Jai Singh’s Observatory built in the 17th century by the founder of Jaipur who, besides being a prince was also soldier, astronomer and builder. This is an architectural feat. Visit the City Palace now a museum exhibiting fine Rajput and Moghul paintings, rare manuscripts and an armoury.
 
Day 5: Jaipur-Ranthambore (B/L/D)
This morning, leave for Ranthambore, is primarily known as the home to Royal Bengal Tigers, it boasts being home to a large number of mammals, reptile, and bird species and is one of the finest places to view wild animals. Ranthambore NP has a rich population of leopards, sloth bears, several deer species, marsh crocodile, palm civet, jackal, desert fox, serpent eagle, waterfowl that along with others make 40 species of mammals, 35 species of reptiles and 320 species of birds. Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past.There are many ruins of bygone eras scattered all over the jungle, which give it a unique, wonderful and mixed flavour of nature, history and wildlife.
In the afternoon, proceed on a game drive to the sanctuary. Return to the hotel in the evening. Enjoy a slide show on wildlife in Ranthambore National Park
 
Day 6: Ranthambore (B/L/D)
Early morning, proceed on a game drive to the sanctuary. After three hours of Safari, drive return to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the local market or you could also opt for a boat ride on Mansarovar Lake. Mansarovar is a large deep lake, known for its picturesque sunsets; this water body is excellent for winter migratory birds like demoiselle cranes, pelicans, flamingos, bar-headed and graylag geese.
 
Day 7: Ranthambore-Agra (B)
Transfer this morning to Agra (275kms; 7 hours) enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri, 40 kms west of Agra. An epic poem in red sandstone, it was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and deserted 14 years later due to lack of water. After the tour continue drive to Agra.
 
Day 8: Agra-Katni (B)
Morning, proceed for a Agra city visiting the wonder, Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Stroll down the ornamental gardens laid out along the classical Mughal charbagh lines. A short drive away is the Agra Fort where Shah Jehan spent the last years of his life, imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. This immense fort and palace was the seat of power for four generations of Mughal emperors. Agra Fort’s architecture is an almost perfect fusion between military might and lavish beauty.
Check out in the afternoon and transfer early in the evening to board overnight train to Katni (departing at 1810 hrs approx)
 
Day 9: Katni-Bandhavgarh National Park (L/D)
Morning arrival in Katni and transfer to Bandhavgarh National Park, where Rudyard Kipling found inspiration for his famous Jungle Book. Bandhavgarh NP is India's top dwelling for tigers, it has the highest density of Royal Bengal tigers in the world. All the white tigers of the world trace their roots to Bandhavgarh NP. The sight of the majestic tiger, up close and personal, is said to trigger a sense of awe in you. Bandhavgarh NP is home to the royal Bengal tiger, 37 other species of mammals, 250 species of birds, 80 species of butterflies. . Within the park is the Bandhavgarh Fort now in ruins and largely overrun by the surrounding forest.
Take an afternoon Safari to explore the wildlife of Bandhavgarh NP.
 
Day 10: Bandhavgarh (B/L/D)
Today, enjoy early morning and afternoon game viewing safari or elephant trek.
 
Day 11: Bandhavgarh-Kanha (B/L/D)
Morning, drive from Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park. Kanha NP has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasinga deer and Indian wild dog. Other larger mammal species of the park are rhesus macaque, golden jackal, Bengal fox, smooth-coated otter, honey badger, small Indian civet, Indian gray mongoose,ruddy mongoose, striped hyena, jungle cat, leopard cat, Indian spotted chevrotain, Indian porcupine, and Indian hare. The Indian jungle fowl, which is the ancestor of domestic hens, is common.
 
Enjoy a thrilling jeep safari in the National Park in the evening to see the abundant wildlife in this Park.
 
Day 12: Kanha (B/L/D)
Morning and evening jeep safaris in the Park – more chances to see the elusive Indian tiger and of course, the enchanting flora and fauna of Kanha.
 
Day 13: Kanha-Nagpur-Mumbai (B)
Transfer this morning from Kanha to Nagpur (250kms; 5 hrs) to connect onward flight to Mumbai.
 
Day 14: Mumbai
Transfer to the Airport to connect onward flight.
