On this tour you will get to visit some of the country’s most interesting sites, such as the St. Martins Cathedral. You will taste the famous wines from vineyards and Mesmerizing Tatras National Park.
Bratislava – Zilina – Tatras – Region – Vienna
Day 1: Vienna / Bratislava (D)
Arrival at Vienna airport and transfer to Bratislava for overnight. Welcome dinner in Bratislava.
Day 2: Bratislava (B)
Start the day with a panoramic tour of Bratislava and discover Bratislava Castle, Slavin Monument and Presidential- Grasslakovich Palace. Continue on foot to the old town and pass by Micheals Gate, Main Square with Old Town Hall, pass by the Opera and Philharmonic. The tour is finishing with a visit of St. Martins Cathedral. Return back to the hotel and free afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: Bratislava (B)
Drive to Small Carpathians, it is one of the eight-winegrowing regions in Slovakia. Visit the Red Stone Castle, later go for wine tasting. Evening return back to Bratislava.
Day 4: Bratislava – Zilina (B)
Check out of the hotel and drive to the northern part of Slovakia. On the way stop in Trnava-
historical town and Trencin which is well known to its dominant Castle above the city. Evening arrival in Zilina for overnight.
Day 5: Zilina – Tatras National Park (B)
Start the day with a visit of the historical centre of Zilina and to Small Fatra National Park, pass through canyons Tiesnavy and stop at the fairytale Drava Castle.
Day 6: Tatras (B/D)
Today morning tour of Tatras and visit one of the most important attractions of Strbske Pleso, Tatranska Lomnica, including cable car to Skalnate Alpine lake. Pass through Stary Smokovec. Dinner in Koliba- a typical restaurant with a fireplace and live music.
Day 7: Tatras – Region (B)
Drive to Central Slovakia, on way visit the Demanovska Cave of Liberty, pass through Banska Bystrica, visit of the historical city centre of the town with main highlights.
Day 8: Region – Vienna (B)
Drive to Sklenne Teplice spa town, swim in special thermal and mineral water in the cave, Continue by a visit of Nitra, an oldest Slovakian town. Transfer to Vienna airport for departure.
