Visit bustling Hanoi before embarking on your journey to explore grottos in Halong Bay during the experiential Junk Cruise followed by a visit to Phong Nha, home to the world’s largest caves, where some caves are big enough to fit skyscrapers, lending themselves to underground campsites unlike anywhere else in the world. Some have swimmable rivers that burrow beneath the ground. Add in a bit of history in the mix exploring the great architectural excellence in Hue.
 
Day 1: Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer.
 
Day 2: Hanoi (B)
Walking tour of Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature. 
 
Day 3: Hanoi-Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Proceed for Halong Bay cruise on traditional Junk to discover this World Heritage site, known as the 'land of 3000 islands'. Overnight on junk.
 
Day 4: Halong-Hanoi-Dong Hoi-Phong Nha (B)
Enjoy the sunrise on your junk. Continue sailing and return to Halong Bay. Transfer to Hanoi Airport for flight to Dong Hoi. On arrival in Dong Hoi, you will be transferred to the Hotel.
 
Day 5: Phong Nha (B/L/D)
This morning transfer from hotel to the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park to visit Phong Nha Cave, which is considered as one of the "First wonders". Take a boat approx 5km along the Son River to tour the Phong Nha Cave (river cave). Continue the journey to visit the Dark cave, walk through the dark with just head torches and plunge into a narrow cavern full of thick, wonderfully gloppy, gooey mud. 
 
Day 6: Phong Nha (B/L)
Enjoy Paradise Cave tour. It is the longest dry cave in Asia, that British Royal explorers discovered in 2005. It is one of the wonders of the magnificent and most fanciful world with stunning beauty and is commonly known as an "underground palace".
 
Day 7: Phong Nha (B/L)
Today enjoy a visit to Hang Tien cave (Shared Tour). With formations rising up like a layer cake of rimstone pools and lush ferns, this cave is truly a unique specimen. On the way back get a chance to take a dip in the natural jungle pool. 
 
Day 8: Phong Nha-Hue (B)
Transfer to Hotel in Hue.
 
Day 9: Hue (B)
Proceed for a full day tour Hue visiting Old Imperial City, Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Khai Dinh, Pagoda and Dong Ba Market. 
 
Day 10: Hue (B)
Transfer to the airport.
