Yangon - Bagan – Kalaw – Inle lake - Yangon
Day 1: Yangon – Prome – Thayet (D)
On arrival in Yangon, transfer to your hotel. Afternoon visit Shwedagon Pagoda. In the evening enjoy your dinner in La Planteur, Yangon’s landmark restaurant.
Day 2: Yangon - Bagan (B)
This morning you will go for a half day tour of Yangon and visit the Kandawgyi Lake, reclining Buddha Chaukhtatkyi, China town, Scott Market and Shwedagon Pagoda. Later transfer to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: Bagan (B)
Begin your tour of Bagan and visit Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple Wetgyi-Inn Village, Htilominlo and a Lacquer Ware Factory. Afternoon visit to Ananda Pagoda, the brick monastery of Ananda Ok Kyaung, Nanpaya Temple, Gubyaukgyi Temple and sunset at Shwe Sandaw Pagoda.
Day 4: Bagan (B/D)
After breakfast, visit the vibrant Nyaung Oo Market followed by a visit two workshops producing Bagan’s most famous products - lacquer ware and wood crafts. Later transfer to jetty for a short ride for a private dinner on a sandbank in the middle of the water.
Day 5: Bagan – Kalaw (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival, proceed by road to Magwe village. Magwe is home to the Green Hill Valley Elephant Project. Return to Kalaw in the late afternoon.
Day 6: Kalaw – Inle Lake (B)
Enjoy a scenic drive to Nyaung Shwe, a gateway village to Inle Lake. Enjoy a short orientation tour of Nyaung Shwe and continue your drive to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon on own.
Day 7: Inle Lake (B)
Today morning, take a private boat on Inle Lake and visit 5 days market continue by a boat ride to Indein, the village of Pa-Oh, at the western end of the Lake. Explore the Indein Pagoda complex consisting of hundreds of small stupas.
Day 8: Inle Lake – Yangon (B)
The morning is free at leisure. Afternoon transfer to Yangon for overnight stay.
Day 9: Yangon (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight home or extend your stay in Myanmar by choosing a beach extension or add on tours we offer.
