Day 1: Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, upon arrival, transfer to Hotel.
Day 2: Beijing (B/L)
Commence the day with a photo stop at National Center for the Performing Arts in an egg shape. Move on to Tian'anmen Square & Forbidden City - the highlight of Beijing for a visit and conclude with a panoramic view of the palace complex from Jingshan Park. Visit Summer Palace, where the Imperial court would come to escape the heat of Beijing’s summer, in the afternoon.
Day 3: Beijing (B/L)
Drive out for a morning excursion to Mutianyu section of the ancient Great Wall, built in the 5th century BC as a feudal defence; proceed to visit Ming Tombs, where 13 out of 16 emperors in Ming Dynasties are buried, and wander around the Sacred Way, a broad avenue flanked by twelve sets of stone animal statues in the afternoon.
Day 4: Beijing (B/L)
Hop on a bicycle from the hotel and ride all the way down to Temple of Heaven, where emperors in Ming & Qing Dynasties used to worship for good harvest during winter solstice, for a morning excursion. Continue cycling up to Hutong, the old quarters of Beijing, and embarking on a human-powered pedicab for a 30-minute ride through the narrow alleyways. Then proceed to cycle further north along the central axis of the city all the way to the Olympic Green and conclude the day with a journey back to the hotel on a bike.
Day 5: Beijing (B/L)
Embark on a 2.5 hours' transfer from your hotel to arrive at Cunandixia Villgae. 100 kilometers away from the city of Beijing, this village has a history of 400 years dating back to Ming Dynasty. Due to its isolated location from the modern civilization, the houses in the village still maintain their original look when they were built. Head back to downtown Beijing at the end of the day.
Day 6: Beijing (B)
Today you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
