Kota Kinabalu – Selingan Island - Sukau– Kota Kinabalu
Day 1: Kota Kinabalu (D)
Arrive at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Evening sunset tour of Signal Hill. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Kota Kinabalu – Gaya Island – Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Today you will visit Gaya Island, by speedboat from Kota Kinabalu. You will trek in the tropical Dipterocarp rainforest. After the trek, enjoy snorkeling or simply laze away.
Day 3: Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Morning departure to foothills of Mt. Kinabalu and visit the Mountain garden in Kinabalu park headquarters. Later drive back to your hotel.
Day 4: Kota Kinabalu - Selingan Island (B/L/D)
This morning transfer to Kota Kinabalu airport for morning flight to Sandakan. Transfer to jetty for a transfer to Selingan Island. Free time free to explore the island, swim and snorkel. In the evening you will proceed to watch Green Turtle lay eggs on the beach.
Day 5: Selingan Island - Sukau (B/L/D)
Early morning transfer by boat to Sukau. Transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre.
After lunch, transfer to Sandakan jetty and visit Sukau Rainforest Lodge. In the evening, enjoy a candlelight dinner overlooking the riverbank.
Day 6: Sukau (B/L/D)
Today morning you take a morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to Kelenanap oxbow lake. In the afternoon, we proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife.
Day 7: Sukau - Sandakan (B/L)
Return to Sandakan. After lunch proceed to the airport for onward flight or extend your stay by choosing a beach extension or add on tours we offer.
Note: This is a private tour, departs daily and can be operated in reverse.
