Ulaanbaatar
Day 1: Ulaanbaatar (L/D)
Arrive at the Ulaanbaatar airport and transferred to your hotel. Later visit the Gandan Monastery the Bogd Khan Winter Palace and the fine arts Museum.
Day 2: Ulaanbaatar - South Gobi (B/L/D)
Borad the flight to South Gopi and get transferred to the ger camp closer to Bayanzag. Afternoon visit the Sand dunes.
Day 3: South Gopi – Khongoriin Els (B/L/D)
Travel to Khongoriin Els to see the singing dunes of Altai mountain range. During this stay in the Gobi you will have the opportunity to use a different type of transport. You will be riding on camels today to explore these massive sand dunes.
Day 4: Khongoriin Els – Eagle Valley (B/L/D)
This morning travel to Eagle Valley. The valley is about 10km long and is completely shaded from the sun in some parts by the high cliff walls. Here you will have a opportunity to walk through the valley.
Day 5: Eagle Valley – Ulaanbaatar (B/L/D)
Morning hike through the Valley and afternoon get transferred to the airport to board flight to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 6: Ulaanbaatar - Khentii Mountains (B/L/D)
Morning depart to Khentii Mountains, enroute visit the Baga Khentii on horseback or on a yak cart. Spend four nights at the base camp.
Day 7 - 9: Base Camp (B/L/D)
Enjoy the camp activities. In the daytime your activities include horse riding, yak cart riding, hiking and visiting the ruins of Gunjin Monastery.
Day 10: Base Camp – Ulaanbaatar (B/L/D)
This morning you will be transferred back to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 11: Ulaanbaatar (B)
Depart in the morning.
Included: Accommodation on twin share basis with meals as per itinerary, transfers, sightseeing as indicated, local guides, entrance fees and taxes.
