Get to know Amalfi coast during this five-day tour. Have the opportunity to know one of the world’s most romantic and inspiring cities. Enjoy a walking tour of the historical centre of Naples with our local guide. You will have the opportunity to relax while you are seeing the magnificent views of Pompeii.
Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento – Capri − Rome
Day 1: Rome – Naples – Pompeii – Sorrento (L/D)
Departure for Naples. On arrival in Naples, walk the city centre. Later continue to Pompeii for a guided visit of the archaeological area. This ancient Roman city was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Later proceed to Sorrento, the gateway of Amalfi coast with his colourful historical centre and a pretty waterfront with fishing boats and new Marina Grande cruise pier.
Day 2: Sorrento – Capri – Sorrento (B/L/D)
Transfer to the island of Capri. On arrival visit, the Blue Grotto, and stop at the famous Piazzetta. Drive up to Anacapri for the breathtaking view. Later drive back and board the ferry for your transfer back to Sorrento.
Day 3: Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi Coast (B)
Today drive to Amalfi via king Amalfi Coast drive. En route stop in Positano, enjoy walking the narrow lanes and visit the abundance of souvenir shops or relax on the beach. In the afternoon drive to Amalfi Coast.
Day 4: Amalfi Coast (B)
Free day to explore Amalfi on own, you can visit the historic centre of Amalfi or visit the picturesque Ravello with the beautiful Villa Ruffolo and magnificent gardens of Villa Cimbrone or you can decide to spend the day on the beach.
Day 5: Amalfi Coast - Pompeii – Rome (B)
Today morning transfer to Pompeii and drive back to Rome.
Includes: Accommodation for 4 nights including meals as mentioned in the program with local English speaking guides.
