A tour which can also be called as an introduction tour to India. Experience the royal city of Jaipur, sites of the historic fairground of Pushkar festival, along with the visit to the magnificent forts of Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur. From the majesty of the Taj Mahal, the tour culminates in the days of the Raj splendour in the historic yet vibrant city of Delhi.

Day 1: Delhi
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Delhi (B)
Morning tour of Old Delhi visiting Jama Mosque, Red Fort and take a rickshaw ride through fabled Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit to New Delhi visiting Humayun’s tomb, drive past Government Buildings, Connaught Place, Presidents House and India Gate.
Day 3: Delhi – Jaisalmer (B)
Take the flight to Jaisalmer. India’s most exotic and unusual town - a medieval looking place, straight out of the ‘Tales of the Arabian Nights’. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 4: Jaisalmer (B)
Full day tour of the walled city which showcases palaces, the Jain temples and magnificent Havelis, richly decorated and carved from golden yellow sandstone. Afternoon visit to the Royal Cenotaphs and enjoy the camel safari on the dunes and overnight stay in tented camp.
Day 5: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (B)
Drive to Jodhpur, afternoon at leisure
Day 6: Jodhpur – Udaipur (B)
Enjoy an morning tour visiting Meherangarh Fort - One of the most impressive and formidable in Rajasthan, Jaswant Thada, the Royal Cenotaphs and Mahamandir, dedicated to Lord Shiva, an architectural wonder with 84 intricately carved pillars. Later drive to Udaipur.
Day 7: Udaipur (B)
Morning city tour takes you to the City Palace, a fusion of Medieval European and Chinese architecture, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari – the garden of maidens. In the afternoon, proceed for a boat ride at Lake Pichola.
Day 8: Udaipur – Pushkar (B)
Travel to Pushkar. Pushkar is a holy city for Hindus, boasting ancient temples, and small Pushkar Lake is dotted with bathing ghats and temples. Afternoon tour of Pushkar.
Day 9: Pushkar – Jaipur (B)
Travel to Jaipur. Afternoon you can explore the colourful bazaars of Jaipur.
Day 10: Jaipur (B)
Full day tour visiting the magnificent hilltop Amber Fort with its picturesque Sheesh Mahal and the Hawa Mahal, the Observatory-Jantar Mantar and City Palace.
Day 11: Jaipur – Ranthambore (B/D)
Drive to Ranthambore and check into the game lodge. Afternoon at leisure
Day 12: Ranthambore (B/L/D)
Enjoy early morning game drive. Besides tiger, you may see several varieties of birds and the ubiquitous langur monkey. Optional boat ride on Mansarovar Lake, known for its picturesque sunsets and an excellent spot to see winter migratory birds like demoiselle cranes, pelicans, flamingos, bar-headed and greylag geese.
Day 13: Ranthambore – Agra (B)
Drive to Agra en route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the mysterious fortified ‘ghost city’. Continue your drive to Agra and check into Hotel
Day 14: Agra – Delhi (B)
Morning tour of Agra visiting the spectacular Taj Mahal and the sprawling Agra Fort.
Later drive to Delhi to connect onward flight or extend stay in India by choosing various add on tours we offer.
