Kuching – Batang Ali – Iban Longhouse - Kuching
Day 1: Arrival
Arrive at Kuching Airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2: Kuching (B)
You will go for half day tour of Kuching and see the places of attraction around this historical city.
Day 3: Kuching - Batang Ali Iban Longhouse (B/L/D)
Pick up from your hotel for a four hour drive to the jetty. On arrival at the jetty, proceed by motorized longboat up river to the Longhouse. Afternoon, tour the longhouse. After dinner, join in the traditional dances and enjoy the locally brewed rice wine known as ‘Tuak’.
Day 4: Iban Longhouse - Kuching (B/L)
Today witness a blowpipe demonstration and a jungle walk with guide highlighting the various plant. Return downriver and overland drive back to Kuching.
Day 5: Kuching - Mulu National Park (B/L/D)
Pick up from hotel and transfer to airport for your flight to Mulu. On arrival at Mulu Airport, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, depart for a plank walk to Deer Cave and Lang Cave. Late afternoon, observe the millions of bats coming out from the vast mouth of the Deer Cave, which will be a memorable occurrence.
Day 6: Mulu National Park (B/L/D)
Depart by a long boat going up river to Wind Cave via Penan settlement. Visit Wind Cave and explore the limestone formation of this unique ecosystem. Continue the journey by plank walk to Clearwater Cave where more interesting stone formation can be seen.
Day 7: Departure (B)
Transfer to Mulu airport for your departure flight.
