Strasbourg is the capital of the “Alsace“ region, located in the East of France. Very popular is the so called „Tanner district“ in the city district „La Petite France“ on the shoreline of the Ill and some of its channels with its picturesque half-timbered houses, small streets and the typical roof dormers. Landmark of the city is the roman and gothic Strasbourg Minster built from 1176 to 1439 build. Dominated by its west facade, you will see along the Minster Square countless, some four- or five story high half-timbered houses in the Alemannic Southern style. The astronomical clock and the "pillar of the Angels", the pulpit, the baptismal font, which are considered excellent examples of Occidental art swallow's nest organ are among his most famous pieces you will find here.

Or Excursion Alsatian wine route and Colmar.

The Alsatian Wine route is one of the oldest tourist streets in France. She was established in 1953 and is 170 kilometres long and runs through the Wine region of Alsace. The Alsatian Wine route stretches strictly in a North-South direction at the foot of the Vosges and thus on the western edge of the upper Rhine plain. Thus, it forms the southern continuation of the already 18 years longer designated German wine route. The vineyard slopes with a total acreage of 14,500 hectares are located on both sides of the road on a one to three kilometres wide strip. One of the largest cities along the wine road is Colmar. The city is famous for its well-preserved architectural heritage spanning six centuries, and for its museums, including the Unterlinden Museum with the Isenheim altarpiece.
