Venture through the Dades Valley and Tinghir for stunning canyon views, before experiencing the Saharan magic in Merzouga and Erfoud, where camel treks and desert nights await. Escape to the alpine charm of Ifrane, and immerse yourself in the spiritual heart of Morocco in Fes, home to medieval medinas and ancient universities.

Next, explore Meknes, with its imperial grandeur, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Unwind in the serene Chefchaouen, known for its blue-painted streets, before ending your journey in Tangier, where history and the sea blend seamlessly.

This route offers a blend of Morocco’s ancient history, rich culture, and diverse landscapes—from bustling cities to tranquil deserts and coastal beauty.

 

Itinerary

Day 1

Casablanca - Rabat

Arrive at Casablanca Airport. Transfer to the Hotel in Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the imperial cities.

 

Day 2

Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes (B)

Enjoy the city tour of Rabat. Visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas.Stop next at Mohammed V Mausoleum & Hassan Tower, minaret built in 1195. Transfer to Meknes, the "Moroccan Versailles" and one of the oldest cities in the kingdom. City tour of Mekenes. Visit Bab El Mansour gate & Hri Souani, which is a complex of three different buildings built for granaries and stables. Continue to the UNESCO-sponsored Roman ruins in Volubilis. Later, transfer to Fes, the spiritual capital of Morocco.

Day 3

Fes (B)

City tour of Fes. Visit the largest royal palace in Morocco. Continue with a panoramic view of the ancient medina. Enjoy an authentic experience at the traditional ceramic crafts village. Next visit Fes El Bali, the ancient town or Medina. Visit the famous Al-Karaouine mosque and a Merdersa. Conclude your tour by visiting the leather Souq and the oldest Leather Tannery in the world.

Day 4

Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga (B/D)

Transfer to the Sahara Desert. The journey takes you through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop first in Ifrane, a charming town and ski resort. Arrive at Midelt, a commercial centre of a large agricultural hinterland.Transfer through many Amazigh (Berber) villages and along the Ziz valley to get to Erfoud. Continue to Merzouga, which is the heart of the desert.Enjoy a sunset camel ride.Dinner in a desert camp.

Day 5

Merzouga – Tinghir – Dades (B/D)

Enjoy an optional 4x4 desert tour. The tour includes Al Khamlia village. Live a unique desert experience there.

Late in the morning, drive to Tinghir via Rissani and Tinjdad. Stop at the famous Todra Gorge, a 300m wall, carved deep into the High Atlas Mountains. Leave Tinghir heading to Dades. The drive is spectacular, winding through stunning desert landscapes and villages.

Day 6

Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (B)

Transfer to Ouarzazate. The drive is spectacular, with hundreds of Kasbahs lining the route. Stop first at KelaatM’Gouna, a big town which is famous for cultivating roses.Arrive at Ouarzazate, also known as “Morocco’s Hollywood”. Visit Taourirt Kasbah and film studios. Leave Ouarzazate to the spectacular fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987.  Transfer to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains.

Day 7

Marrakech (B)

Enjoy city tour of Marrakech, “Paris of the Sahara”. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque&Bahia Palace.Stop next at the Saadian tombs. Continue the tour with the world famous Jema El Fna Square where you will enjoy amazing performance of traditional activities by storytellers, snake charmers, peddlers of traditional medicines. Your last stop is the bustling souks in the old medina.

 

Day 8

Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech (B)

Full day trip to Essaouira. This relatively small, easily navigable beach city is ideal for free time.Its mild climate and expansive stretches of ocean sand also place it among Morocco’s top beach towns. Late afternoon return to Marrakech.

 

Day 9

Marrakech – Casablanca (B)

Transfer to Casablanca. Enjoy city tour visiting Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country and one of the largest mosques in the world. Continue to Ain Diab Corniche for a pleasant stroll along the coast. Your next stop is Mohammed V Square.  Rest of the day is free.

 

Day 10

Casablanca (B)

Transfer to the airport.
