This 11-day tour will take you to explore Casablanca- Morocco’s largest city and economic hub, known for its modern architecture and French colonial heritage. Rabat, Morocco’s serene capital, blends historic landmarks like Hassan Tower with modern administrative charm along the Atlantic coast. Explore Volubilis -a captivating ancient Roman city known for its remarkably preserved ruins and intricate mosaic floors amidst rolling countryside. Marrakech dazzles with its vibrant souks, historic palaces, and lively Jemaael-Fnaa square, while Fes enchants with its labyrinthine medina, ancient universities, and rich spiritual heritage. Merzouga is a desert village on the edge of the Sahara, famous for its towering Erg Chebbi sand dunes, camel treks, and stunning sunrise and sunset views.Erfoud is a desert gateway town known for its fossil workshops, date palms, and proximity to theSahara dunes.Midelt is a peaceful town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, serving as a scenic stopover with apple orchards and mountain views.Tangier is a vibrant port city at the crossroads of Africa and Europe, known for its whitewashed medina, historic Kasbah, and sweeping views of the Strait of Gibraltar.

 

Itinerary

Day 1

Casablanca

Arrive at Casablanca Airport. Transfer to the Hotel. Enjoy city tour visiting Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in the country and one of the largest mosques in the world. Continue to Ain Diab Corniche,which is one of the city’s most fashionable districts.

Day 2

Casablanca – Rabat – Marrakech (B)

Transfer to Rabat, the capital of Morocco and one of the country’s imperial cities. City tour of Rabat visiting the Kasbah of the Oudayas. Stop next at Mohammed V Mausoleum& Hassan Tower, minaret built in 1195.

Day 3

Marrakech (B)

Enjoy city tour of Marrakech, “Paris of the Sahara”. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque&Bahia Palace.Stop next at the Saadian tombs. Continue the tour with the world famous Jema El Fna Square where you will enjoy amazing performance of traditional activities by storytellers, snake charmers, peddlers of traditional medicines. Your last stop is the bustling souks in the old medina.

Day 4

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades (B/D)

Transfer to the Sahara crossing the high Atlas Mountains. Stop at the wonderful fortress of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Continue to Ouarzazate, also known as “Morocco’s Hollywood”. Visit Taourirt Kasbah&the Atlas film studios where some of the most famous desert landscapes were and are still being shot.Leave Ouarzazate to Dades. The drive is spectacular with hundreds of Kasbahs lining the route. Stop at Kelaat M’Gouna, a big town which is famous for cultivating roses.

Day 5

Dades – Tinghir – Rissani – Merzouga (B/D)

Leave Dades heading to Tinghir. The drive is spectacular, winding through stunning desert landscapes& villages. Arrive in Tinghir, a gorgeous 40km oasis. Drive to the famous Todra Gorge. Leave Tinghir through many Amazigh (Berber) villages and along the Ziz valley to get to Rissani.Enjoy 4x4 Jeep tour to Merzouga, which is the heart of the desert.Enjoy a sunset camel ride in Merzouga to the camp by the dunes. Dinner in the charming desert camp.

Day 6

Merzouga – Erfoud – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes (B)

Leave Merzouga heading to Fes, the spiritual capital on Morocco. Arrive at Midelt, a commercial centre of a large agricultural hinterland.Continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, a charming town and ski resort. Arrive in Fes in late afternoon.

Day 7

Fes (B)

City tour of Fes. Visit the largest royal palace in Morocco. Continue with a panoramic view of the ancient medina. Enjoy an authentic experience at the traditional ceramic crafts village. Next visit Fes El Bali, the ancient town or Medina. Visit the famous Al-Karaouine mosque and a Merdersa. Conclude your tour by visiting the leather Souq and the oldest Leather Tannery in the world.

Day 8

Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Chefchaouen (B)

Continue to Meknes, the "Moroccan Versailles". Stop at the massive Bab El Mansour gate. Transfer to the UNESCO-sponsored Roman ruins in Volubilis, a Berber and Roman city partly excavated by the UNESCO.Transfer to Chefchaouen, the “Blue City” and one of the most majestic places to visit in Morocco.

Day 9

Chefchaouen (B)

Visit the kasbah of Chefchaouen.Stop next at Plaza Uta el-Hammam, which is the cobbled main square in town and where the striking 15th century Grand Mosque sits. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10

Chefchaouen – Tangier (B)

Transfer to Tangier the “Pearl of The North” of Morocco and it’s main gate to Europe.  City tour of Tangier. Stop at the old town, locally called “The medina”. Visit the American legation, Dar El Oued Makhazen Kasbah, the Mendoubia Gardens, and the Grand and Petit Socco.Transfer to Cape Spartel after that, the meeting point of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Also visit Cave of Hercules.

Day 11

Tangier (B)

Transfer to Tangier Airport/port for your onward flight /ferry.

This is an independent tour, departs daily and can be customized.
