Discover the city's rich heritage with visits to the serene Meiji Shrine, the picturesque Imperial Palace Plaza, and the historic Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa. Experience an authentic Uji Matcha tasting before ascending the Tokyo Skytree, where you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the Tembo Deck Observatory (350 metres).

Continue to the futuristic waterfront district of Odaiba, then relax on a scenic Tokyo Bay Cruise, offering spectacular views of Tokyo's iconic skyline. The tour concludes at Shinjuku, from where you will make your own way back to your hotel.

Embark on a shared coach tour to the UNESCO World Heritage village of Shirakawa-go, renowned for its picturesque gassho-zukuri farmhouses with steep thatched roofs designed to withstand heavy snowfall. Explore the charming Ogimachi Village, where centuries-old homes, traditional shops, and scenic lanes offer a glimpse into rural Japan's rich heritage.

Visit the Gassho-zukuri Minkaen Open-Air Museum, home to preserved traditional farmhouses relocated from across the region, showcasing the architecture and lifestyle of historic mountain communities. Make your own way to the bus station and board the express bus to Takayama, a scenic journey of approximately 2 hours 15 minutes (135 minutes) through the Japanese Alps. Upon arrival in Takayama, proceed independently to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities.

The remainder of the day is at leisure. You may choose to relax after your journey or explore Takayama's charming old town, renowned for its beautifully preserved Edo-period streets, traditional wooden merchant houses, quaint cafés, local sake breweries, and authentic Japanese atmosphere at your own pace. Enjoy an overnight stay in Takayama.
 

Make your own way to Takayama Station to board an express train to Nagoya, where you will connect to the Shinkansen (bullet train) bound for Kyoto. Upon arrival in Kyoto, make your own way to your hotel and check in. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure as you begin exploring Japan's historic cultural capital.
 

Immerse yourself in the timeless beauty of Kyoto on a shared walking tour through the enchanting Arashiyama district. Explore the serene Jojakko-ji Temple, stroll along the iconic Sagano Bamboo Grove, and admire the tranquil gardens of Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The tour concludes at the monastery, after which you will make your own way back to your hotel.
 

Transfer to Osaka by private car and begin your exciting city tour. Visit the historic Hokoku Shrine, followed by a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Tennoji Park.
