Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, 16th-century wooden temple, surrounded by cedar forests. Spiritual seekers, history buffs, and photographers. Manu Temple, Dedicated to Sage Manu, believed to be the creator of the human race. Old Manali, laid-back, hippie culture, great for cafes and live music, Mall Road for shopping, local food, handicrafts, and street photography.

Drive from Manali to Jispa via Rohtang Pass (145kms/ 6hrs). Visit Gemur Monastery, a peaceful 17th-century gompa located about 5 km from Jispa. Visit Tibetan Buddhist art, Jispa Monastery & Village Museum. Within the village, you’ll find a small Buddhist gompa offering serene views of the Bhaga Valley, and a folk museum showcasing local artifacts, garments, and tools.

Drive from Jispa to Tsokar enroute stopping at Barlacha and Sarchu (230kms/7 hrs). Visit Gata Loops, a series of 21 sharp hairpin bends just before Sarchu on the Manali–Leh route. Tsarap Chu River, flowing gracefully alongside the tents, the glacial-fed Tsarap River provides tranquil walks, mesmerizing photo opportunities and migratory birds.

Drive from Leh to Nubra via Khardung-La Pass (5600m), which once used to be the highest motorable pass in the world. Visit Diskit Monastery & Maitreya Buddha Statue, one of the oldest and most significant gompas in Nubra. Diskit Monastery belongs to the Gelugpa sect and dates back to the 14th century. Adjacent to it, the towering 32-meter (106‑ft) Maitreya Buddha statue overlooks the Shyok River, Hunder Sand Dunes & Bactrian Camel Safari, The unique high-altitude sand dunes at Hunder offer a surreal desert experience amid the Himalayas. Enjoy an unforgettable ride on double-humped Bactrian camels.
