Itinerary

Day 1

Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (L, D)

Leave the bustling streets of Bangkok behind and journey into the tranquil landscapes of Kanchanaburi,a province where history, culture, and nature come together. Visit the Thailand Burma Railway Museum, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand Burma Railway. The fully air conditioned centre offers the visitor an educational and moving experience. C ontinue to the Allied War Cemetery, final resting place for over 6,000 allied prisoners of war, and the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai.
Lunch at a local restaurant
Later, travel to Phutakian Pier and board a traditional longtail boat for a scenic journey along the Kwai Noi River to your unique accommodation, The Floathouse River Kwai. Nestled in a peaceful jungle setting and accessible only by boat, this floating resort offers a memorable blend of comfort and nature.
Dinner and Mon Dances (30 minutes) boat transfer to the River Kwai Resotel Hotel. (Show time 20:00 hrs at River Kwai Resotel)

Day 2

Kanchanaburi – Bangkok (B/L)

After breakfast, check out and depart by the resort's longtail boat back to Phutakian Pier. Continue by van to Hellfire Pass Memorial
Lunch at a local restaurant
Board the local train for a ride along the most exciting stretch of the “Death Railway”
Transfer to Bangkok. Arrive at your hotel in Bangkok downtown, where you will arrive early evening (around 18:00 hrs) , depending on traffic conditions.
