Day 1

Taipei

Arrive in Taipei and transfer to the Hotel. 

Day 2

Taipei (B)

Explore the city’s landmarks.Visit the world-renowned National Palace Museum that houses the largest collection of ancient Chinese artifacts in the world. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Lungshan Temple that represents the local religious beliefs and practices; and the famous skyscraper, Taipei 101 (observatory ticket is not included).

Day 3

Taipei – Sun Moon Lake (B)

Leave for Sun Moon Lake - largest freshwater lake on the island. Afternoon, proceed to explore At Ita Thao, village offering insights into the culture and lifestyle of the Thao people. Continue to visit Ci'en Pagoda. Explore two significant temples - Xuanzang Temple, a serene Buddhist sanctuary & Wenwu Temple, an imposing Taoist temple.

Day 4

Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung (B)

Visit Tainan, the oldest city in Taiwan. Visit famous Fort Zeelandia. Later, visit Anping Old Street - known for its local specialties such as tofu pudding, shrimp rolls, fish skin dishes, beef soup, and many more. Drive to the harbor city of Kaohsiung visiting renowned Fo Guang Shan Monastery (FGS), a significant Buddhist monastery. Engage with a knowledgeable monk who provides insights into the doctrines and development of Buddhism.

Day 5

Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung (B)

Set out to visit Taiwan's first national park - Kenting National Park, known for scenic landscapes, and rich marine biodiversity. Stop at Maopitou, literally cat’s nose, when viewed from afar; Chuanfan Rock, literally sail rock, another distinctive natural formation; Eluanpi Lighthouse and Longpan Park, a coral limestone plateau overlooking the Pacific Ocean.Continue your drive to Taitung via the scenic South Link Highway.

Day 6

Taitung – East Coast National Scenic Area – Hualien – Yilan (B)

Today, drive along the east coast visiting some scenic spots along the way, including Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao, each with its own distinctive geological features. Experience train ride from Hualien to Yilan.

Day 7

Yilan – Taipei (B)

Today, visit King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery, Taiwan’s first single malt whisky distillery brewed from the clear water sources of the Mountain Ranges. Continue to visit National Center for Traditional Arts, a vibrant cultural park dedicated to preserving and showcasing Taiwan’s traditional arts, crafts, and folk culture.

Day 8

Taipei (B)

Transfer to the airport.
