Transfer to Cairo Airport for your onward flight.

Day 1

Cairo

Arrive and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Cairo (B)

This morning, you will go for a full-day tour of Cairo and visit Memphis and Sakkara, the Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Sultan Hassan Mosque and Khan El Khalili Bazaars.

Day 3

Cairo (B)

Today you will be going for a full day tour visiting Egyptian Museum, which is the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world, later you will also visit Pyramids & Sphinx, reckoned by the Greeks to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Day 4

Cairo – Luxor (Nile Cruise) (B/L/D)

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival visit the Luxor's West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, several Pharaonic tombs, and then visit the temples of Queen Hatchepsut and Medinat Habu, before stopping at the huge Colossi of Memnon. In the evening, enjoy walking in the smaller Luxor Temple which is right in the middle of town and beautifully lit up at night.

Day 5

Luxor – Edfu (Nile Cruise) (B/L/D)

This morning you will tour the temple complex at Karnak, once the religious centre of Thebes and Upper Egypt. Visit the remarkable Hypostyle Hall, which has 134 towering columns, each carved with scenes of gods and Pharaohs, and hieroglyphic inscriptions adorn the walls. Afternoon sail to Edfu.

Day 6

Edfu – Aswan (Nile Cruise) (B/L/D)

This morning visit the temple of Edfu before continuing upriver towards Kom Ombo. Sail to Aswan.

Day 7

Aswan (B/L/D)

On arrival, visit the island temple complex of Philae. The Philae temple remains one of Egypt's most romantic and picturesque sites having been completely relocated following work on the Dam. The rest of the day is free to explore the colourful souks and markets in the town or watch the sunset over the River Nile.

Day 8

Aswan – Cairo (B)

Transfer to Airport for your flight to Cairo (or you can take optional morning tour to Abu Simbel including flights Aswan - Abu Simbel - Aswan). The afternoon is free to explore the back streets and bazaars in Old Cairo.
