Day 1

Tokyo

Arrive in Tokyo and transfer to the Hotel in a shared coach.

 

 

Day 2

Tokyo (B)

Make your own way to the designated meeting point to join a shared coach for a full-day panoramic tour of Tokyo. Begin with a visit to the tranquil Meiji Shrine, nestled within a lush forest in the heart of the city, followed by a photo stop at the historic Imperial Palace. Continue to the iconic Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo's oldest Buddhist temple, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Nakamise Shopping Street.

Enjoy an authentic Uji Matcha experience before heading to the renowned Tokyo Skytree, where you'll ascend to the Tembo Deck Observatory (350 metres) for spectacular panoramic views of the city. Later, visit the futuristic waterfront district of Odaiba and conclude the day with a scenic Tokyo Bay Cruise, offering a unique perspective of Tokyo's impressive skyline.

The tour concludes at Shinjuku, from where you will make your own way back to your hotel.

Day 3

Tokyo – Mt. Fuji /Hakone - Hakone (B/L)

Make your own way to the designated meeting point to join a shared coach tour to the iconic Mt. Fuji and Hakone region. Visit the renowned Mt. Fuji 5th Station (subject to weather and road conditions) for breathtaking panoramic views. Continue with a scenic cruise across the tranquil waters of Lake Ashi, followed by a ride on the Komagatake Ropeway to the summit of Mt. Komagatake, offering spectacular views of the surrounding landscapes and, on clear days, Mt. Fuji. The tour concludes in Hakone, from where you will make your own way back to your hotel.
 

Day 4

Hakone-Kyoto (B)

Make your own way to Hakone-Yumoto Station and board the Odakyu Line train to Odawara Station. From Odawara, board the Tokaido Shinkansen (bullet train) to Kyoto, with a journey time of approximately 2 hours and 5 minutes. Upon arrival at Kyoto Station, make your own way to your hotel for check-in.
 

Day 5

Kyoto (B)

Make your own way to reach the meeting point to join a shared coach tour to visit Kyoto & Nara City. Enjoy a full day exploring the cultural treasures of Kyoto and Nara. Begin your day in Kyoto with a visit to the picturesque Arashiyama district, home to the historic Tenryu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its beautifully landscaped Zen gardens. Continue to the iconic Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), one of Japan's most celebrated landmarks, before visiting the historic Nijo Castle, the former residence of the Tokugawa Shoguns, famous for its exquisite architecture and beautiful gardens.

Later, take a short train ride with your guide to Nara, Japan's first permanent capital during the 8th century and a city rich in history and cultural heritage. Visit the magnificent Todai-ji Temple, home to the Great Buddha and the world's largest wooden building. Continue to the stunning Kasuga Taisha Shrine, renowned for its vibrant vermilion architecture and hundreds of bronze and stone lanterns donated by worshippers over the centuries. Conclude your visit with a leisurely stroll through Nara Park, one of Japan's oldest public parks, where the friendly free-roaming deer are considered sacred messengers in Shinto tradition.

After the tour, return to Kyoto and make your way back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Kyoto (B)

Day at leisure to explore Kyoto on own.

Day 7

Kyoto - Hiroshima - Miyajima – Hiroshima (B)

Begin your day by making your own way to Kyoto Station, where you will board the world-famous Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Hiroshima.

Upon arrival, join a shared coach tour to explore the city's most iconic landmarks. Visit the historic Hiroshima Castle, followed by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which offers a moving insight into the city's resilience and history. Continue to Miyajima Island to admire the breathtaking Itsukushima Shrine, renowned for its iconic floating torii gate. Stroll along Omote Sando Shopping Street, where you can browse local handicrafts and sample regional delicacies.

The tour concludes at Hiroshima Station. From there, make your own way to your hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.
 

Day 8

Hiroshima – Osaka (B)

Begin your day by making your own way to Hiroshima Station and board the iconic Shinkansen (bullet train) to Osaka. Upon arrival, proceed independently to the designated meeting point to join your guided walking tour of the city.

Discover some of Osaka's most renowned landmarks, including the serene Hokoku Shrine, the lush Tennoji Park, the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower, the vibrant Namba district, the dazzling streets of Dotonbori, the historic Hōzenji Temple, and the nostalgic Ukiyo Koji alley, offering a glimpse into old Osaka's charm.

After the tour concludes, make your own way to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 9

Osaka - Kansai (B)

Make your own way to Osaka Airport for your onward flight.
