Situated in the town of Narendranagar, Ananda in the Himalayas is close to the mythological cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh, surrounded by forests overlooking the holy Ganges River. Housed in the former palaces of a Maharaja and Viceroy, the buildings have been restored to their original glory, complete with Italian renaissance and Indian architecture.
