Itinerary

Day 1

Bangkok – Kanchanaburi (D)

Pick-up from your hotel in Bangkok City (pick up from outer Bangkok hotels or airport will be subject to supplement charges) to meet the group and depart from Century Park Hotel at 9:00. Visit The Golden Mount (Wat Saket), which was built outside of the former city walls in the late 18 century in the reign of King Rama I. Continue for a walk through Chinatown, which is one of Bangkok’s multicultural districts and home of the city’s sizable Chinese community, continued by a visit of “Pak Khlong Talad”, the biggest fresh flower market in the city. This market has all kind of popular flowers to offer, such as roses, nots, orchids, lilies and much more. After lunch board a traditional longtail boat and make a tour through the canals. In the old days, Bangkok was comprised of hundreds of small canals or “khlong” in Thai and local people mainly traveled by water. By boat you will arrive to Baan Silapin, the “Artist's House”, which is more than two hundred years old, dating all the way back to when the capital of Thailand was on this side of the river. The house and the neighborhood were run down when it was bought before being restored to its present glory. Since then, the entire area has become a popular attraction on and the boardwalk leading to the house now hosts several shops and tiny restaurants. Continue to Kanchanaburi via Nakhon Pathom to visit the Phra Pathom Chedi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 2

Kanchanburi - Ayutthaya (B)

After breakfast visit the War Cemetery, the Thailand -Burma Railway Centre and the famous iron bridge over the River Kwai. After lunch continue onwards to Ayutthaya, which became the second capital of Siam around 1530 after Sukhothai . Visit the Ayothaya Floating Market. This floating market, located in a large pond with an island in the middle, helps conserve the Thai traditional lifestyle since the Ayuthaya era from clothing, architecture, art and culture, as well as food, for visitors. With 50 paddle boats and over 200 shops offering goods and food, visitors could enjoy spending time shopping or sightseeing

Day 3

Ayutthaya - Nakhon Nayok (B)

After breakfast you will depart from your hotel by Tuk Tuk to visit some of the most important places in this historical city, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Viharn Phra Mongkol Bopit and Wat Phra Mahathat. Continue to Nakhon Nayok province and take a tour on water - buffalo cart, which was a traditional means of transport in the old days. Before you can start eating your lunch, you will have the choice to lend a hand to the local “chefs” to prepare the delicious meal or just to listen to their introduction to authentic Thai cooking (in English language). Enjoy your lunch in a local, simple Garden House. Continue to Khun Dan Prakan Chon dam, the longest dam construction in the kingdom. Afterwards visit a Royal Project for sustainable farming under the patronage of King Bhumipol , visit rice planting (activity subject to season). Enjoy coffee, tea and fresh fruits. Return to Bangkok drop off at your hotel
