Itinerary

Day 1

Kuala Lumpur

Arrive in Kuala Lumpur. On your arrival at Kuala Lumpur International Airport; after completing Immigration and Custom formalities, you will be met and transferred to your Hotel

Day 2

Kuala Lumpur (B)

This morning, proceed for a Suburbs Tour + KL Tower + Shopping tour

Start with tour of the countryside, visiting a pewter factory showing Malaysia as one of the biggest producers of tin.

Later, proceed to the limestone hills of Batu Caves that comprises of three caverns and several smaller caves. It is the shrine of Lord Murugah, a Hindu deity – a flight of 272 steps lead up to the temple cave. Another cave, called the museum cave, is filled with images of deities and murals depicting scenes from the Hindu scriptures.

In the afternoon, proceed for shopping spree at Little India and Central Market.

Evening free at leisure.

Day 3

Kuala Lumpur (B)

Full day free at leisure to indulge in shopping.

 

Day 4

Kuala Lumpur – Penang (B)

This morning, catch a flight to Penang. Upon arrival, check in to the Hotel

In the evening, pick up for Batu Ferringhi Beach tour and Enroute enjoy night market shopping.

Day 5

Penang (B)

This morning, visit Kek Lok Si - the largest Buddhist cum Taoist monastery and temple complex in Malaysia with its imposing 10,000 Buddha's Pagoda and the tortoise Pond of Longevity.

Later, ascend 830 meters up Penang Hill by the Swiss funicular railway passing through hill farms and lush tropical jungles for a panoramic view of the island and mainland. Visit the bustling waterfront area of Chew Jetty, where you will find “homes on stilts“, which form a water village dating back to the early Chinese immigrants.

Last stop for a little retail therapy of local products at Heritage Zone before transfer back to hotel

Day 6

Penang – Langkawi (B)

Fly to Langkawi. Later, proceed for a tour of Langkawi. Upon arrival at the village, ascent Mat Chinchang Hill by cable car for a bird’s eye view of major part of Langkawi even as far to the islands of Tarutao, Ko Adang and Ko Lipe in Thailand. The cable car has the longest suspension in the world between two stations. At highest tower (72 meters) enjoy the cool air on the highlands and view before proceeding down to oriental village.

Day 7

Langkawi (B/L)

This morning, embark on unique experience beginning with the mangrove adventure, cave exploring, eagle watching and a delicious lunch will most definitely appease all your senses.

This is an adventurous tour requiring climbing of steep stairs and uneven paths. A pair of binoculars will prove rewarding. Take a walk on the platforms and see the variety of fish that are separated by net cages. Get a close up shot of the many eagles as they zoom down with accuracy to their feed. See the vampire bats having their siesta as hundreds of them cling upside down from the ceiling of the cave formed millions of years ago. For nature lovers, the formation of stalagmite and stalactite including the rock formation would serve as an interesting subject.

Day 8

Langkawi – Kuah Town – Kuala Lumpur (B)

Today, proceed to Kuah town for half day shopping. Kuah Town is a bustling shopping center. There are shopping complexes for fixed priced items and street stalls to browse, haggle and buy your best bargains.

Later, at an appointed time, you will be collected from your Hotel and transferred to Langkawi Airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur to connect to onward flight
