On this unforgettable Trans Siberian train journey you will travel from west to east and visit major cities along the way: Russia's capital Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg

Itinerary

Day 1

Moscow – Kazan

Arrive in Moscow and transfer to train station for a night train to Kazan.

 

Day 2

Kazan (L)

On arrival go for a half-day city tour of Kazan, which was the ancient capital of the Tartars, visit the Kazan Kremlin to view Kol Sharif mosque, the Blagoveshenskiy Cathedral and Soyembika tower. Later visit the National Cultural centre, the Marconi mosque, Kazan university complex and the Church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross.

 

Day 3

Kazan – Yekaterinburg (B/L)

Today morning visit the Peterhof Palace, which is also referred to as "the Russian Versailles", later transfer to the train station to catch the train to Yekaterinburg.

Day 4

Yekaterinburg (L)

Arrive in Yekaterinburg, located on the east side of the Ural  Mountains, Yekaterinburg also serves as a natural border between Europe and Asia.

Day 5

Yekaterinburg – Novosibirsk (B/L)

Today you will go for a half-day tour of Yekaterinburg You’ll visit the most important sites of Yekaterinburg, including statues, the museum, and the church that stands on the spot where the Romanovs were killed. Later transfer to the train station for an overnight train to Novosibirsk.

Day 6

Novosibirsk (B)

On arrival at the Novosibirsk train station, start your half-day tour of Novosibirsk and visit the Ascension cathedral, Krasny Prospect street, Lenin Square, old wooden houses in Gorkogo street, St.Nicolas Chapel and visit the History Museum.

 

Day 7

Novosibirsk – Krasnoyarsk (B/L)

Today visit the Akademgorodok also known as the academic village. Later transfer to the train station for the overnight train to Krasnoyarsk.

Day 8

Krasnoyarsk (L)

On arrival at the Krasnoyarsk train station, visit the  Stolby nature reserve. In the evening return to the hotel.

 

Day 9

Krasnoyarsk - Irkutsk (B)

This morning go for a half-day tour of Krasnoyarsk and visit the monument of Andrey Dubensky, the founder of the city, later visit Annunciation temple, Intercession Cathedral, a Catholic church and Mira Avenue. Transfer to the train station for onward train heading to Irkutsk.

Day 10

Irkutsk (L)

On arrival at Irkutsk train station, you will start your half-day tour of Irkutsk and visit the historical centre, the Russian Orthodox churches and a Polish Cathedral, you will see many small ones- and two-story wooden houses later visit the Irkutsk Museum of Regional Studies.

Day 11

Irkutsk (B/L)

Today morning visit the village Listvianka which is located on the shore of Lake Baikal fisherman village, visit the museum of Lake Baikal.

 

Day 12

Irkutsk (B)

Transfer to the airport.
