Itinerary

Day 1

Hanoi

Arrival in Hanoi. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Hotel.
 

Day 2

Hanoi – Halong (B)

This morning your guide will take you on a brief walking tour of the fascinating Old Quarter of Hanoi, and Hoan Kiem Lake, followed by a visit some of Hanoi’s historical sites, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Ho Chi Minh’s house, as well as One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature.

In the afternoon, proceed by car from Hanoi to Halong. Arrive in Halong and check-in at your Hotel

Day 3

Halong – Ninh Binh (B/L/D)

In the early morning, transfer from your Hotel to Halong Bay pier to board a sailing Junk to discover this World Heritage site, known as the ‘land of 3000 islands’. Rising from the sea the islands offer a wealth of opportunity for the local people. Your visit includes exploring the beauty of this area up close. A delicious seafood lunch is included on board the boat.

On conclusion of your cruise, transfer from Halong to Ninh Binh – where surrounding countryside is gorgeous, confirming all the postcard fantasies of what Vietnam has to offer – water buffalos, golden green rice paddies, majestic limestone for mat ions and more.

Day 4

Ninh Binh –Vinh (B/L/D)

Drive to Tam Coc, often called “Dry Halong Bay”. Limestone crests rise from rice fields and winding streams. Enjoy the spectacular scenery during a leisurely boat ride in traditional local sampans paddling through three caves.  Continue onwards drive by car to Vinh for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Vinh – Hue (B)

Excursion this morning to Kim Lien, birth place of Ho Chi Minh and Hoang Tru and continue your onward journey by car from Vinh to Hue.

Day 6

Hue (B)

Today you will have a full day sightseeing of Hue visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang with boat trip on Perfume River, Old Imperial City and Imperial Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc.

Day 7

Hue – Danang-Hoi An (B)

Today, leave by car from Hue to Hoi An via Danang enroute visiting China Beach and the Marble Mountains. Arrive in Hoi An.

In the afternoon take a half day walking tour of the charming town of Hoi An visiting the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient houses, Phuc Kien Pagoda, a Chinese Communal House or Hokkien Temple and the colourful local market. Travellers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry. Hoi An is also famous for its booming tailoring industry who can produce an identical dress or shoes in a day.

Day 8

Hoi An – Qui Nhon (B)

Morning at leisure in Hoi An to explore this town on your own.

In the afternoon, leave by car and proceed to Qui Nhon. Qui Nhon is the homeland of the most respected Vietnamese hero: Nguyen Hue. Being the cradle of the classic theatre “Tuong” and the martial art of Viet Nam, it used to be the important commercial centre of exchanging trade with China.

Day 9

Qui Nhon – Nha Trang (B)

Leave this morning by car from Qui Nhon to Nha Trang. Arrive in Nha Trang and rest
